The Copalis Community Church Food Bank is located in the parking lot of the church, 3140 State Rt. 109, in Copalis Beach. We are open EVERY Wednesday from 1:30 to 5:30. Last Wednesday we served 154 families. Donations are always gladly accepted as we go through an amazing amount of food every week.
We also have a group of ladies (clients and volunteers) that crochet lap robes and booties for many of the area hospitals, nursing homes, crisis center etc. They always appreciate donations of yarn.
In the summer the food bank sponsors the USDA Summer Free Lunch program. This will be our 7th year and we distribute over 4000 lunches to children 1-18 for the entire North Beach Area.
We are more than a food bank, we are a bright spot in a bleak area, offering hope to everyone who comes.
