Get Acquainted with your Lions Club
MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR SATURDAY, AUGUST 1ST. We are planning a beach clean-up, a trash art project, some experts on hand to tell us about beachcombing, ocean creatures and some information on getting acquainted with our neighbors and emergency equipment that is standard in all homes and cars.
There will be food to purchase or bring your own. There will be some fun things for kids to do. There will be a raffle for Lions Park play ground equipment. There will be people to tell you all you ever wanted to know about Lions and what they do. Let’s get the word out on this one—IT IS TIME TO STOP HIDING OUR LIGHT UNDER A BUSHEL!
The Ocean Shores Lions Club is sponsoring a great event. We hope that we will have many people especially children attend this fun day long get-a-way. More news will follow in two weeks as the partnerships solidify and the activities go together. Stay tuned!
