The Grays Harbor Symphony Orchestra goes to the movies for their Sunday evening concert (on December 6). The musical event, featuring favorite movie themes from Hollywood’s recent blockbusters, begins at 7 p.m. at the Bishop Center on the Grays Harbor College campus in Aberdeen.
Conducted by Robert C. Richardson, the community musicians rehearse throughout the year. This concert is sponsored by the Westport Winery and Liz Richardson.
Movies themes included in the program are “Star Wars,” “Pink Panther,” “Pirates of the Caribbean,” “Wizard of Oz,” “Harry Potter” and from the most recent Batman movie, “the Dark Knight.”
Tickets are available now online at www.ghc.edu/bishop or by calling (360) 538-4066. They are priced at $14 for adults, $12 for seniors, $7 for students; each child 12 years of age and younger will be admitted at no charge with purchase of an adult ticket.
