Robert Ravard

Robert Ravard

Robert represents a fascinating story of how a skinny kid can grow up in the inner city of South Central Los Angeles and find himself at home in the North Beach. After a fabulous career delivering consulting projects to some of the finest companies in the world, Robert is now living in Ocean Shores Washington with his enormously talented wife Sushila. Meeting him offers a true insight into what the modern renaissance man might be; for a guy who spent 30 years in IT he tends to be very creative, original independent and very thoughtful. His interests range from the culinary with study at the Western Culinary Institute Le Cordon Bleu to creative writing. His knowledge about the world is global in scope yet he takes great joy paddling his beloved canoe in our local waters. He holds great passion for his unique vision of community service and a ‘hospitality first’ principal. He's a graduate of the highly acclaimed United Way Program ‘Project LEAD’ where he completed study in Not-for-Profit Governance. You’ll be treated to a delightful writing style as he creates imagery with words that simply light up a page. His training in professional project and program development enables this rather cautious and deliberate fellow to present a piece worth reading.

Garden by the Sea Transformation Continues

By Robert Ravard on June 22, 2009

A handsome asian inspired fence with ‘Tori (Japanese for bird perch) trellised every 8 feet and green coated see through fencing ’is the new backdrop for your Garden by the Sea – the Ocean Shores community garden.
